Join Northern Lights Folk Club for their double bill presentation of Jared Sowan + Cory Danyluk on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Parkview Community League, 9135 146 Street NW. Doors open at 7:15PM, performance begins at 8:00PM.

Jared Sowan is an award-winning singer/songwriter, an accomplished vocalist, pianist, bass player, drummer and guitar player. His tone brings to mind the blues and soul era of yesteryear, while his music has an edgy raw groove that sits in the pocket. You may want to tap your toe, bop your head, laugh, cry or just dance the night away. No matter your age or what style of music you enjoy, you will fall in love with Jared!

Cory Danyluk's music is an earthy hybrid of ragged countrified stylings and groove-driven rhythms, to more intimate, barebones offerings to further embrace the listener. Sonically inviting, lyrically compelling, and instantly identifiable. All naturally blended with his bold, bluesy harmonica phrasing and rich, expressive vocal style.
