Aspects of Nature

Join the WindRose Trio for their concert Aspects of Nature on Saturday, November 28 at 2pm at Highlands United Church (11305 64 St NW).

A flask of dew, a narrow wind, a bee or two – these are some of the images exquisitely captured in Michael Massey's “Aspects of Nature” written for WindRose Trio with poetry by Emily Dickinson.

Mr. Massey has been inducted into the Edmonton Cultural Hall of Fame and is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal, the Alberta Order of Excellence, and the Order of Canada for his “transformational mentorship of generations of Canadian musicians."

We’re also presenting different Aspects of Ourselves in the form of three recital pieces for woodwinds and piano followed by a quartet based on rock, jazz, and blues themes. This is truly music to move and inspire you.
