2026 Edmonton Arts Prize Presentation
On May 4, join us for an evening of celebration and connection at the 2026 Edmonton Arts Prize Presentation! Gather at Metro Cinema to recognize some of our city’s most exciting artistic talents and their work in music, visual art, film, and literature.
At this feel-good event, all the shortlisted artists are up for a prize! The top recipient of each prize will be announced that evening and will receive $15,000, while two secondary prizes of $5,000 will be awarded to the runners-up.
This event is free to attend and open to all ages. ASL interpretation will be provided. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the awards presentation starts at 7:00 pm. Following the approximately hour-long presentation, we invite the arts community to continue celebrating with us over drinks (cash bar) and light refreshments.
The prizes are coordinated by the Edmonton Arts Council, in partnership with the City of Edmonton, Alberta Media Production Industries Association, Alberta Music, Audreys Books, CARFAC Alberta, Edmonton Community Foundation and Writers’ Guild of Alberta.
